Identifying trees in winter is a honed skill, join The Royal Parks' Arboriculture Officer Greg Packman to discover the trees of Hyde Park.

  • The walk will begin with an introduction to the key characteristics used in the identification of trees at this time of year, giving you a strong foundation on how to identify trees. 
  • Bud shapes and bark will feature highly when leaves, fruit and flowers can’t be seen.  
  • We will then take a walk around Hyde Park and show you the key things to look out for when identifying our fabulous trees in winter.

  • The tour will take place from 10:30am - 12:30pm.
