Identifying trees in winter is a honed skill, join The Royal Parks' Arboriculture Officer Greg Packman to discover the trees of Hyde Park.
- The walk will begin with an introduction to the key characteristics used in the identification of trees at this time of year, giving you a strong foundation on how to identify trees.
- Bud shapes and bark will feature highly when leaves, fruit and flowers can’t be seen.
- We will then take a walk around Hyde Park and show you the key things to look out for when identifying our fabulous trees in winter.
Please note:
- Designed for adult attendees, over 18 years of age.
- The tour will take place from 10:30am - 12:30pm.
